I really find understanding strong accents difficult, and it's quite awkward in conversations. Not just foreign accents, but even strong northern England or Scottish accents. I have a very classic UK British accent, which is probably part of the problem :/
Does anyone have any tips or advice? I've tried looking for YouTube videos, but haven't found anything very useful

My German teacher had to move to Scotland and teach people English who had an extremely strong accent but she said after a few months she just got used to it. It's simply just a matter of listening to the accent a lot

Thanks for replying yeah, I hope I’ll get better with it over time! I’m just hoping that there may be some ways to make it easier :’)
