Does anyone here have experience volunteering with Greenpeace? If so, I am interested in hearing about your experience. What are the positive and negative aspects of volunteering for Greenpeace?

I haven't had any experience with them, but I noticed this had gone unanswered.

There's a site called Greenwire where you can connect with existing Greenpeace volunteers and groups, so it's an opportunity to get to know some of them and ask them about their experiences.

It says that some groups are open to all, so you could easily go along to one nearby and see what it's all about before signing up officially. There are 60 - 70 groups/networks in the UK according to the site, hopefully that includes one near you.
