So for my English project, I am planning to do the western media and their coverage on the Syrian Civil War and the lack of coverage on Aleppo. Can anyone suggest any key points, maybe some facts and figures, I should definitely include. I need to make a speech on why its important that the media provides good and valid information. Tips and help much appreciated! Xx

You also need to address the issues of why it might not get as much coverage.

    Difficult to get to/ dangerous
    No new news/ news fatigue.
Less relevant to the west than local issues or ones which affect them.

If you are going to say its covered less then maybe get some hard broadcast data
showing how other issues are covered more.
