rove that the triangle with vertices A(1,2) B(4,2) C(3,5) is right angled

first i found the distance between the points AB which is 3.16 and BC is 3.16 and CA is 4.47
is that right and what do i do next

draw a graph of it, plotting the coordinates (1,2) (4,2) and (3,5) then join them to show the triangle and that will show you if its right angled or not

Two lines that are perpendicular to each other form right angles.
Hope this helps, spoiler has next step if not

    Spoiler:
    Show

so if you can show that either AB, AC or BC are perpendicular you can prove that ABC has a right angle.

As 4.47x4.47 is equal to 3.16x3.16 + 3.16x3.16 its rightangled
