I have endless issues with my ex wife about my contact with our child, 9 years old boy. She is trying different things over and over again.
My ex got mental when I was named in Court a primary carer of my son in July 2017 and she lost her benefits, etc
Soon after someone made a profile of myself on some kind of escorts website using my pictures from FB. And the worst thing is that my ex made a new application to the Court and the Judge suspended contact between me and my boy until the issue will be resolved, which can last for months.
I have already made a complaint to the Police and they are investigating it.
But in the meantime, social services told me to ask someone who is at least very good if not an expert in IT to give their personal/professional opinion or view or expertise on how extremely easy is to create a fake profile of someone and cause a serious trouble.

Of course you guys, me and millions of other people know that this is super easy these days, even for a few years old kids like my son, but social services told me that the Judge might not understand that as she is around 75 years old an old school lady.
It is certainly very easy to copy pictures off Facebook and create a fake email to use as identification for creating stuff like Facebook accounts and website profiles.
But honestly have no idea how I would go about demonstrating that to the Judge.

I would appreciate your views, opinions, advice.
    Thank you

Yikes, well everyone leaves behind a trail when they’re on the Internet so there’s no doubt records to prove that she’s the one who has created this profile. Maybe if you contacted the website directly and spoke to them about identity theft they might take it seriously enough to look into who made the profile. Otherwise all it would take is having her laptop seized to show that she’s behind it. A funny turn of events would be if you did the same thing and made a profile of her, like you said, to demonstrate how easy it is to make a fake account. Regardless hope things work out for you
