RE: Classics Further Reading

I would really like to study Classics at university, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend any reading, not just of classical text but also non-fiction books exploring the topics. I am particularly interested in Roman Religion and the Politics and History of the Late Republic. Books I have read/have so far are:
Classics: A Very Short Introduction by Mary Beard and John Henderson
SPQR by Mary Beard
In Search of the Romans by James Renshaw
The Romans and their Gods by R. Ogilvie
The Iliad and the Odyssey by Homer

Thucydides, Herodotus, Plutarch and Arrian (if you're interested in military history) for any Greek reading.
