I’m predicted AAB. I applied for the international legal studies degree which needs AAA.

I was just wondering why all the other law degrees including law with European studies all need AAA-ABB at Kent but international law needs AAA?
Also, would I be better off subbing my choice to another Law course which needs aaa-abb as I’m only predicted AAB? Because last year I heard people got offers of bbb if firm choice for Law and did not hear anything like that for the international law degree.

Supply and demand. Its simply more popular and thus more competitive.

Its up to you. How much do you wish to do international law?

I would make an informal enquiry to check they wont rile you out full stop for an offer and then if its what you want then go for it. You have 5 chances so a high ranking one is ok as a gamble. They might offer you AAA in which case you have to raise your game a bit , but prediicteds are only for getting an offer its your actual achieved grades that will matter.

From experience, because i was predicted ABB, i chose to do a joint honours (Law and Philosophy BA) and then im going to do a QLD for another year, so my course in total is 4 years rather than 3. I chose to do a joint honours because i knew i wasn't good enough to do just law by itself so thats why i chose what i did. Then i received my offer which was contextual; rather than AAB it was BBB if firmed!

So, because my course wasnt popular, and because its a joint honours, i had a very good chance.
But from the sounds of it im sure you are most likely going to get a Conditional offer either AAB or AAA.
So good luck, hope this helps!

I ended up applying for the LLB European legal studies degree. I was given an offer of AAB but BBB if firm which I did.
    Thanks for your help anyway.
