So i am currently studying 4 A-Levels plus EPQ. Im in year 13 so im looking into applying to Universities. However, I have been told I am not allowed to go uni yet due to me not being in the country long enough. Ive been here for 4 years and since now you need 5 to go uni and get all the loans and stuff. Obviously i can have a gap year which is cool or get an apprenticeship for a year however i was wondering if Im able to stay in my 6th form one more year and just get some more qualifications like AS’ or improve my current subjects even more. I’m just not looking forward to wasting a year somewhere while i could be improving or getting more qualifications. Anyone knows if such thing is possible? x

You need to ask your sixth form if they will let you stay. Its more likely they will ask you to leave especially if you have done well.

You can try college, but tyou may need to take out an advanced learner loan to pay for any course. Similar terms to student loans. the alternative is to get a job and earn money or get experience.
