    I am a private tutor and mostly make my own resources for my students.

    I make Word format question sheets, converted from PDF format. The problem is though, any special symbols (square root signs etc.) or diagrams always come out a mess in the final word document. Does anybody know a good converter/method to convert these worksheets so the diagrams and text are both neat?

    Why are you taking diagrams from pdfs? Presumably you didn't create the diagrams or pdfs if you're having such trouble extracting the contents into word...
