    Hi guys,
    I just wanted everyone's honest opinion on whether I have a good chance of getting an offer from UCL? (lack of A*)
    In GCSE I was in an inexperienced and underachieving school in which my grades were top 9%. I got;
    Maths A
    English Lit A
    English Lang A
    Double science AA
    Business A
    PE A
    History A
    In A2 I believe/highly confident I will be predicted A*A*A. Say I achieve that and my PS etc are all good, will I honestly stand a good chance of getting an offer from UCL to do law?
    Thanks guys.

    No-one can give you a definite answer. However, your grades are good so you'll have a good chance.

    As above, the only people who can accurately tell you are the admissions tutors from UCL - who will only do so once they receive your UCAS application...however you have very good GCSE grades, especially if you are from an underperforming school. Beside that, outside Medicine GCSEs aren't really a huge consideration - particularly as you have the core English/Maths requirements covered. However UCL does have a language requirement so you would need to satisfy that after starting; it might affect your application initially although I doubt it.
