    How do universities make conditional and unconditional offers? Is it based on your predicted grades andr already achieved grades?

    I’m about to submit my application just want to be sure what I should be praying for 😂🙏🏾

    For conditional offers they take into account your entire application - references, personal statement, GCSE grades and predicted grades. Generally if your predicted grades meet their criteria then you should get a conditional offer.

    For unconditional offers, all I know of is that Reading University has an 'Academic Excellence Scheme' where they look at your GCSE/predicted grades and if they're very high, will give you an unconditional because they want to ensure you go there. I think this would be similar for other universities. Basically the unconditional is a hook to get you to make that uni your firm choice.

    As above, it's a mixture of both, but specifically depends on the Uni
