Can people give me an insight into what this degree is like, the teaching etc.....
I’m predicted ABB but have also done Gold DOFE as well as a weeks work experience with my local MP.
Will this be enough to get me in?
Also on a separate note what is the social life like in Edinburgh because I haven’t heard the best

I studies Politics this year at Edinburgh and it was okay... in first year it's a lot of theory and ideology which can be pretty interesting if that's what you're in to, all I would say would be to keep up to date with the terms you learn and watch the news/read newspapers as often as you can as this will be helpful in your tutorial participation (10% of your grade). As for your experience that sounds really good, I worked in The Scottish Parliament and with a local MP and as long as you explain why this is relevant to the course you'll be grand! Also for your DofE try to relate it to the course if you can, sometimes the admissions can see this as a bit of a ramble. However, good luck! I'm sure you'll get yourself a place
