how is energy transferred from the thermal energy store to the chemical energy store? I searched online and it said it was an endothermic reaction. Can someone please explain it in a bit more depth?

Endothermic reactions take in heat (with the reactants) and produce products with a higher total bond energy.

Ohhh thank you! So the chemical energy would have a higher bond energy right?

Loss in thermal energy = Gain in chemical energy
Gain in chemical energy is gain in bond energy.

    (I'm being voluntarily bothered... Don't apologise 😅)
