So I’m doing my ucas now and am applying for:
    1) kcl English language and linguistics AAB
    2) newc English Lang AAB
    3) manc linguistics and sociology ABB
    4) lpool English language and sociology AAB
I need an insurance, ABB is the lowest so far but school’s career’s advisor says look for somewhere with BBB-BCC, quite low but it’s the ‘in case’ uni option! Leeds Beckett would have been good but don’t do my course. I live in Sheffield and bc it’s my 5th choice not too far please!!
My predicted grades are AAB but I’m doing awful in French atm..:/

    Thanks

I have a friend who is a mature student in her second year of taking English Language and Linguistics at UWE and thoroughly enjoying it. The entry requirements are 120 points, ie around BBB.

That said, don't bother applying to any uni if you wouldn't be happy to study there.
