I'm a Master's student at Heriot-Watt university and I am conducting a research on career barrier called Impostor phenomenon. In a very plain language, Impostor phenomenon is a feeling that you don't quite know what you are doing (at work) and everyone else around you is smarter.
Because software developers work in a very unique environment, we predict that many of them are going to feel this way. However, feeling this way impacts their career decisions and prevents them from reaching full potential.
If you know any software engineers, developers or anyone who works with the code, please may you share this survey link?
In return, I will be happy to complete your survey. Just share your link, please.
Would you pay less for a humanities degree?
