I started Sixth Form in September. Things haven't really been good for me, I hate my subjects and the whole way the school is run, and also feel very alone most of the time which affects my mental health. I would be looking to drop out this year and then go to another Sixth Form next year, where I am able to study the subject I will enjoy. Is this possible? What would I do until then?

Is there any chance you could drop out at the end of term? Like around Christmas? Because when you drop out in the middle of the year it can make things a little bit messy, unless you are struggling a lot and you need to dropout ASAP. I'm sure there's something you could do between January and June, have you checked online?

You can't really "drop out" exactly, at least not very easily. Whilst you're under 18 you obviously still have to be in some form of education.
