Got full marks from coursework in my school, so glad it takes some of the pressure off to get an A. But looked on TSR and have heard so many horror stories of people going down A LOT and am now panicking I will be called up for it. Can anyone tell me how likely I am to be moderated (i.e. how many are picked per year) and how likely I will be to go down if I get moderated. I have also heard that they pick some on the middle on the top and at the bottom of the grade spectrum too. So if this is true as I was one of few to get full marks I am really bricking myself.

    EDIT : For A level.

When coursework is marked in a centre it is moderated by the examiner.
Whether or not your work is sampled makes no difference. If the samples requested by the examiners indicate your teachers marked high grade work too generously then all marks for the centre will be adjusted down accordingly. If the samples indicate they are marking correctly then the marks for all candidates stay the same.
