this might sound a bit weird, but i've never had a one night stand and i don't really understand how they work. i've only ever had sex with people i've been in relationships with and there's always foreplay/oral involved to get me 'ready' (aka wet) it takes me a while before i can comfortably get a penis in there and i have to be really turned on. i can't imagine having a ons as (from what i've seen in movies) people just go straight into sex, is this true? can girls really just go straight into sex without any preparation and isn't it uncomfortable? idk i just can't imagine having a ons and not spending a while on the foreplay

Films don't show you reality, if they showed you the whole sex scene it would be pornographic. It's not weird that you haven't had a one night stand either - it's just that most people in this day and age have. There is foreplay when it comes to one night stands, either that or shed loads of lube - it would be painful without either of these because friction!

    1. It depends on the person and the situation on how quickly someone can get wet. Personally I can get pretty wet without any foreplay with just the thought of sex. While I know some people need lube even with lots of foreplay.
    2. One night stands in movies aren't that accurate from real life as they cut out a lot of what happens in between. You don't just find a guy and go, yep, let's have sex.
    3. Usually some making out is involved then getting to a more private place while you're both horny and touching each other. And then when you do get to it, you still have slight foreplay as you're taking off your clothes and you might spend some time getting ready and teasing each other. So it doesn't specifically have to go straight for penetration.

Saying all that, my partner and I do sometimes act like in some movies and go straight for penetration as soon as clothes aren't in the way anymore. Which is a bit more uncomfortable, but like I said before, I get ready very easily.
