    Hey r.ak

I currently study Business Management and Marketing so will hopefully be able to help you out!

When I started looking for Uni's, the league tables are a good basis (but don't swear by them!), they will help you to decide what universities are realistic with the grades that you are predicted.

As you mentioned you'd prefer London, it might be best to pickor rule out uni's in London that you like the look of. Obviously if you're willing to go further a field, then the same principle applies for other locations too.

I think it's a good idea to have a list of things you want to get out of University.

Do you have an idea of any criteria you'd like your Uni to have?

For example a few things that I knew that I definitely wanted was:

    1. A city University
    2. A large but not overwhelming city to live in
    3. Modern buildings to study in

Once you have a rough idea of what you want out of your university experience, it becomes a lot easier to narrow it down when choosing which uni's to go and visit. Another key point is to try and go to as many open days as you can, most of them will be the same in terms of the academic side of it but you will really get a feel for a place if you go and visit it and be able to envisage if you could spend the next 3 or 4 years of your life there.

Hope this has helped, give me a shout if you have any questions
