    Nothing wrong with them. Though if below a certain size seems strange to have a top on as well. If women were not photographed with them then perhaps more would wear them and/or be topless.

    You could say the same about many fashionable items- draughty cold ankles given the current fashion of trousers three inches too short, for example.

    I wear them as I find them more comfortable than bigger bikini bottoms and not to look sexy per se, but because I hate having a bright white bum when the rest of me is tanned.

    No, not at all. I actually wear mine to the gym (under other clothes of course). They don't really move once on and unlike bigger bikini pants, they don't get full of sand or water when you're on the beach, in the pool etc.
