This may sound really odd, and I'm not here to self diagnose, just to get a feel for if this may be an issue...

For the past few months I have been getting extreme pains in parts of my body (usually legs/feet but sometimes arms too) that feel identical to the pain of a broken bone, even when I haven't done anything. The pain can last anywhere from several minutes to several days and really impacts my life as due to the pain and discomfort it can be hard to do some everyday activities. I lead a fairly healthy lifestyle, eat a balanced diet and do moderate exercise when I can. I have stopped growing so it's definitely not that!

Not sure if it's related but I'm also frequently getting a tingling/numb feeling similar to pins and needles in situations I would never get it before.

Does this sound like it could be something or is it perfectly normal? Hoping the latter, obviously, but just want to check as my Google searches haven't brought up anything of use.

The tingling/numb feeling may not be related, but could be related to blood circulation or even something to do with your nerves. But both of these things are not normally, something is definitely not quite right and only a doctor will be able to figure out what it is! I would get an appointment ASAP!

Are the pains around your joints, or just in random places?

both - they're in my knees quite a bit but often will be in the top of my foot or halfway between my elbow and wrist
