    demisexual is a ridiculous terminology.

It is not impossible for someone to date you, but I think if you found someone who has the same attitudes to sexuality as you, your relationship would work even better. You would both have the same ideals.

For someone who is interested in sex, they would have to compromise on this if they entered into a relationship with you. Some people may do this, but some won't.

If my partner truly loves me they wouldn't do those things...

I don't understand what's so hard about it.
If you really loved your partner then you'd make a compromise to please him. We all have to do things we don't really enjoy, that's just life.

    I would compromise.
Assuming I don't find them sexually appealing they can masturbate.
I don't want an open relationship.
Assuming I find them sexually appealing there would be sex but not much of it.

Merely allowing them to masturbate isn't much of a compromise, especially when visual stimulus is banned

I'd allow them to think about me I guess.

Sex shouldn't be make or break.
I understand why people do it but there are other ways to show love that can be as intimate and as fulfilling as sex.

Again, asking a fully grown man to just use his mind as stimulus is quite an ask... and no, you clearly do not understand, I've already pointed this out.

Isn't using your mind what people normally do?

That's basically the only way they would have sex if I wasn't attracted tot hem sexually/I was attracted to them and we barely had sex.

No, porn is normally what men use.

Again, that's an unfair demand for someone who's not asexual. They'd end up leaving you so as I said, just don't waste your time with someone that isn't asexual, is my advice. I know you're going to say "if they love me they wouldn't leave me over sex" - love takes time to develop. He'd realise that he's in a sexless relationship, get sick of it and up sticks long before he'd started to fall in love.

As I said sex isn't everything so I think they should just try to be okay with masturbation.

I was thinking of having sex once or twice a year as a compromise, assuming I;m not attracted to them and they wanted sex.

    I can't understand why.
Why can't they just be happy with cuddles, kisses, hand holding, etc?

If they want sex they can masturbate.

I'd consider being in a relationship with an asexual person, if they were the most amazing person ever. I wouldn't consider being in a relationship with you, because you seem really self-centred, controlling, and unwilling to see the other person's point of view or empathise with them. Maybe you've just shown us the ugliest parts of your personality, but I can't see anything to love there.

    Yes, I am serous.
Other than the 1/2 time(s) a year that we would be having sex (assuming I am not attracted to them) they would only be able to masturbate.

I'm not self centered or controlling.
I just don't believe in porn.
Not everyone is okay with it.

Why not just have sex with them anyway? You don't have to enjoy it, and anyway sex can be enjoyable regardless of whether you're attracted to them or not.
I'm pretty sure forcing someone to have sex if they don't want to is rape.

    I'm on the asexual spectrum.
    I regard myself as demisexual.
That means that I only feel sexual desire/attraction if I feel a strong emotional bond to someone.
Just because I feel an emotional bond with someone I love doesn't mean I'll feel sexual attraction to them though.

If I ended up not finding my partner sexually appealing I would hope that they would just accept it and still be okay with me finding them psychically appealing.

Would you date someone like me or anyone else who's on the asexual spectrum?
i think that is totally fine. i hope you find someone wonderful.
