I'm a first year at York St.John studying Media Production: Film and TV, and not that it's a weak course or anything, I just want to know what other uni's offer and any tips/advice about changing universities, and what students on similar courses at other institutions feel about their courses? Anyone in first/second year currently studying a film production course that could give any insight would be greatly appreciated

You have to do some research im afraid. Go and visit your uni careers centre and ask them what books they have listing uni courses. They should have a copy of heap degree grade offers.

You can use the guardian tables for a rough guide.

Visit each unis website and examine what they say if the course in detail plus the way its taught.##The ones Ive seen come up quite a lot are Westminster and Essex. they all have differences on the way its taught and ability to specialise

As for transferring its up to the uni. A levels , performance at uni, closeness to quality of how they teach etc. Informal enquiry then apply through UCAS. You could go back to year 1.
