I'm sitting MAT on Thursday, even though I don't need to for any of my courses. Just wondering whether doing badly in it will negatively impact the rest of my application, or will it just lower requirements if I do well?

    Thanks

I shouldn't have thought so, some might even be impressed because it shows commitment. I'm doing the same thing with STEP in June. Good luck!

Doing STEP as well in June (but Imperial does ask for it), good luck to you too!

If your unis don't ask for it, it's not going to make any difference at all.
