Hi guys,

When people say they are taking a gap year, do they mean they will apply for Medicine after their A levels and start medicine the following year, or apply for medicine a year after their A levels?

For example, someone gets their results in 2018 and applies in the same year for 2019 entry.
Or wait a year, then apply in 2019 for 2020 entry.

Which one do people usually mean?
