I just sat my gcses this past summer and I got:
    Chemistry - A*
    Biology - A
    Physics - A
    Maths - 7 (A)
    Geography - A
    Religious studies - A
    English literature - 5 (C+)
    English language - 5 (C+)
    German - C

I'm thinking about applying for medicine and currently I am doing A level bio chem and maths. I didn't find my gcses hard and didn't really try hard but i could've done a lot better. My question is are my gcses good enough to apply for medicine? A lot of them ask for a B in english but Idk if i should apply or not. I'm open to do bio medicine or chemical engineering but if i can apply for medicine I'll go for it

Your A levels matter far more. Most unis don't have GCSE requirements. Where did you see the B in English?

i went on the requirements for medicine at manchester university and they said a minimum B/6 in GCSE Maths and english. A lot of the other unis have gcse requirements on their page for medicine too.

Found that now. English and Maths seem to be common ones but otherwise there won't be specific requirements for specific grades in certain subjects.

Anyway, you seem to have found entry requirements for yourself so check them where you plan to apply
