    Hi,

I’m in Y12 taking maths, further maths, physics, and CS.
My half term is about to end, but I don’t feel 100% confident with my subjects. In particular, statistics is making me feel anxious because we haven’t got the textbook yet. Despite this, our teacher gives us review exercise and mixed exercise questions from the textbook, and it’s pissing me off because I can’t solve the questions (haven’t practiced enough since I don’t own the textbook).

I am worried that at this rate I will fall behind in all subjects, and that I will suffer once we move to the further stats, as I lack the ability to solve the normal stats questions.

    Is this a big deal?

Not really. We had a similar problem with our stats teacher last year and not getting the textbooks on time. Don't worry about it too much. Stats is one of those things which just falls into place, eventually. You might never understand it but you just have to keep going.

Try to find notes online to explain the stuff you don't understand and do some questions too if you want to get on top of it.

Good luck! Feel free to message me if you need more advice.

    Thanks for your insight.
Would you say statistics is easier compared to pure and mechanics? Statistics is pretty boring for me right now.
