The structure of paracetamol has an aromatic ring as part of its' structure. Aromatic rings are very non-polar and therefore hydrophobic. This will dominate the solubility characteristics of the compound, making paracetamol only sparingly soluble in water (i.e. almost completely insoluble)

Paracetamol as the name reveals has an aromatic ring, the phenol to be exact. This one has the OH-group, thanks to this functional group paracetamol is hygroscopic, that is to say it binds water, so much that this substance cannot be solved in water.
