    I'm now feeling very confused.

So, I'm doing an experiment where I'm using Vaseline to trap the dust particles in my neighborhood. Now, I need to dissolve those dust particles in water, but how the heck am I gonna get those dust particles from the Vaseline? Since, Vaseline is very sticky.

    Or is my procedure wrong?
