I doubt there's another pack other than with your enrolment details, i guess we'll just get to pick stuff up when we go to enrol/ something.. Mine just didn't come with any information about social events whatsoever

You can get tickets online in advance from kclsu.org (booking fee payable), the first floor of the macadam building in the strand (DONT KNOW WHERE THIS IS?!! Help!!), the learning resources centre at guys campus, as well as (good for those who live in stamford street) the ground floor of the waterloo campus. Not sure of opening times or anything like that..
by the way wut subjects are u guys studyin?...

My, how much does the tickets cost? Could u buy the tickets when u turn up to the party?

And do we have to buy tickets to go to the freshers fair?

I'm doing medicine btw
Dont think we need tickets for the freshers fair.. the tickets cost between £3 (for the badge party i believe) and £13 (for the ball). You can buy tickets when you turn up as long as it's not sold out!

I'm doing english.
hey u guys...
goto this website for pricing and fresher events info...

Have you 2 got tickets already?
I most probably will be going.. how do you all plan on displaying your name?!

I bought my tickets over the net... they're being sent to my UK address (and I'm in Dubai at the moment), so I'm still not sure if they've been delivered :frown: hope they have though coz if I arrive in England on the 17th and they're not there, I'll be in a bit of a muddle

I would suggest that you buy your tickets when you get there.

a) You will want to be going to the same events as your friends and perhaps your new flatmates are going to an event on another campus that night. Best to wait.

b) If your dept hasn't started teaching, you will have very little to do during the day on Freshers' Week as there are only so many induction lectures you can go to. If you wait til you get there it will give you something to do, and an excuse to explore the campuses.

You will probably be given a tour when you get there but people are very helpful (especially as the Strand campus is like a rabbit warren!). So don't worry about not knowing where you are going for the first few days! Tutors, in general, are very understanding.

Best of luck for everyone starting.

If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.
