Alkenes share a similar reactivity pattern because they are part of the same homologous series. But, they have different melting points and boiling points which is a macroscopic property. So they, have different macro properties. I'd assume reactivity is a microscopic property, reactivity is affected by the outermost electrons.. Which are very small.
