Is mathsgenie content updated to the new 9-1? If it hasn't is it ok if I still use all the topics as revision or is the new 9-1 spec completely different in adding new topics?

From what I can see, if you go to http://www.mathsgenie.co.uk/gcse.html and scroll down, it does display all the topics for the new 9-1 Maths. Hope that helps.

I did higher tier and I did everything from level 4 upwards and some level 3 stuff on mathsgenie i started to do these in year 11.

The school I went to has very poor maths teaching and although my teacher was one of the best in my school he focused mainly on level 4/5/6 stuff when teaching our class because most people in my class were either failing or getting 4’s (because we either had no teacher or we had a rubbish teacher before him) He did cover some topics that the higher ability in my class should be able to answer questions on easily from the level 7 and 8/9 topics. Anyway, he didn’t teach our class everything so I mainly focused on things he didn’t teach us which was most of the level 8/9 stuff.

I was aiming for a 6 (which was my target grade) in real exam as I was one of the people getting 4’s in year 11 but got an 8 instead somehow and I think it’s only because of mathsgenie.

I would recommend also using Corbett maths if you haven’t already as it has more questions (which are in my opinion harder).
