I got 3 E's in my A Levels and am now unsure what to do watch

    • Thread Starter

Yesterday I had a revelation, I had wasted 2 years of my life by not trying in sixth form and now only have E's in maths, physics and economics to show for it. Ive also realised i might want to go to uni after all and with these grades that isnt really possible.

I need to do something soon in order to get my life back on track and move on forward. Spending another 2 years retaking A levels is not what i want to do but i feel like i might have no choice.

Has anyone got any suggestions for courses which will look good on a uni application or know of any apprenticeship schemes which can get me into a career?

Why don't you just take the exams again next summer (instead of resitting the entire A Levels again)?

uhhh, have you looked into the Open university, that could be something and you can work alongside it.

Or do Year 14 and improve your grade?

well a friend of mine had the same problem, but instead he got two E's and two U's, so clearly from that u can see that he didnt do as well as he thought. So he left college, took one year off, started working in a retailers store, and then he realised that he wanted to go Uni, hes mind was finally clear, so he took an exam for Computer Science and he is now studying computer science. So he has a part time job and he goes to Uni. Still getting an education and making money at the same time
