I really dont like 95% humans, everything they do just proves to me how *****y and dishonest they are. I have major trust issues and i can't seem to put trust in anyone and whenever i have its always come back to bite me as once again the person is just another liar/user or whatever else you wanna call them. I feel like most of the human population is like this therefore i have trust issues and i don't really like anyone. I don't speak to many people at all due to this and i have isolated myself. I dont have much trouble socialising even when i dont want to socialise, im just really unhappy and to be honest i feel quite alone even though i know i'm not and i have support for me. I feel like i understand humans behavior which makes me dislike them. I'm quite an open minded person and i also do realise there's good people out there and i feel like ive came across a few in my lifetime but its very rare. I want help with this one because its just making me quite depressed and contributing to my mood swings. Any help is massively appreciated

Ignorance is bliss and you're not ignorant. That's pretty much it really.

Disliking 95% of humans is sensible, and healthy so long as you surround yourself with the other 5%.

Often the majority of people are nice but yeah I agree that often u are given a chance to trust some even though u know they'll break this trust u have to otherwise it makes you seem selfish but then they prove u right so u lose out and they couldn't give a dam.

E.g lending someone a pen (simple yet effective example - not from personal experience 😂😂)

You know they're gonna never give u this pen back since it's not theirs so who cares ( unintentionally rhymed) they beg and beg so u give them a pen since u have only 1 spare.
The pen never comes back but if it does it's in the worst possible condition ( I mean chewed lid - ink cartridge probably snapped or exploded etc)

The pen was an example of how people treat other people's feelings , possessions and beliefs 😊

Yeah, I also have this problem, and it also gets me down.

It especially gets me down when the few people I do value behave in *****y ways, not necessarily towards me, but show their dishonesty etc to others. I guess it's kind of true that when people do bad things to harm others, they don't actually want to harm others - but they just can't do otherwise.

It seems like people criticise you and single you out no matter what you're like. When I was at school I was bullied, socially isolated and hence very misanthropic for years, which led me to put up a barrier. People would criticise me for not being sociable, or whatever, but then some years later I started to reconsider everything and gradually somehow forced myself to come across a lot more bubbly, free spirited, optimistic and sociable. It did feel like I was faking it, until I made it sort of thing, and it didn't feel particularly great all the time because it felt like I was putting on an act. Then there were some people who said I was passionate and great to be around, but there were other people who said I was 'annoying', so yeah, people love to criticise you no matter what way you play it. There will always be someone who will say something bad to make them feel great.

Very true statements from everyone and i love the pen example but currently really struggling to find any of that 5% right now and i feel like im going to continue to struggle because of how rare it is to come across a genuine person, i guess i just need to learn to accept the reality of peoples behavior but im also struggling with that one too and i guess this is why im here looking for advice
