I'm currently doing A-level and I am wanting to go on to do maths at university.I'm writing my personal statement and I'm struggling with showing how I can portray my analytical thinking.I play a lot of football manager and there is a great deal of analysis in that with the prozone feature (what professional teams use)Should I look elsewhere or is this a unique angle I should use

Try reading a book/paper on the mathematics of football management
    like these
    https://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/e...n_managers.pdf
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Soccernomic.../dp/0007457847
And then mentioning a part of the paper/book that you thought was particularly interesting.
