Does anyone have any information or resources about the education system in France? I've had not teacher to provide this for me and have a speaking on it next week. Anything would be helpful - and as soon as possible!

    Basics:

    École- School in general
    Collège- 11-14 ans
    Lycée- 15-18 ans
    Université- University
Grandes Écoles- Higher education institutions outside public university framework, selective and prestigious, often specialised

Unfortunately do not know much about the French Baccalaureate :hide: but hope this provides a decent starting point :yep:

I know a bit, what do you need to know specifically? (I work better off specific questions)

In the meantime, here are a few good sites:

https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/en/th...ational-system (This is a government-run page with basic info)

https://www.expatica.com/fr/educatio...ce_101147.html (Very precise and has tonnes of good information)

https://about-france.com/primary-secondary-schools.htm (Detailed summery, but I find it not as good as the link above but definitely take a look)

https://wenr.wes.org/2015/09/education-france (Is a good general summary about the system, but definitely take a look)

    Wow you lot are awesome!

Well, I'm not good at specifics. What's the baccaleareat's like and the differences, etc? Whats le ZEP? What do you know about le turnover de professeurs.
