Hey everyone, When should I start revising for english literature GCSE? My exam is on january 8th and I have already completed the poetry component as coursework and managed to achieve an A*. Thank-you.

Well it’s depends which year you are in . If you are in year 11 then I’d say for the actual literature exam in June you should start revising now and should have made all your revision flash cards or whatever style of notes you make now and for the rest of the year you should just plan exam questions and hand them to your teacher or any English teacher to mark for you ( I’d say one every week )

Also review your notes and memorise quotes and make sure your quotes are judicious and packed with good analysis of your own and language devices and connotations
