Hi everyone! I am currently in year 12 and am interested in all aspects of Biology, especially on animals. Therefore for uni I hope to pursue my studies in Biology.
I would like to apply for either Natural Sciences in Cambridge or Biological Sciences in Oxford but I am not sure which one to apply for...Could someone give me some advice on that?
    Lots of thanks!!

Natural sciences is more flexible, allowing you to specialise straight away in topics you are really interested in. Biological sciences is more comprehensive, so you'll cover more areas but probably in slightly less depth, the advantage of this is you may find new areas that interest you. Both are amazing, good luck when applying!

That's interesting coz I always thought that Cambridge's Natural Science is more broad so Oxford's Biological Science is more specialised, but now I realised that actually Natural Sciences is more specialised, as in the first year of Natural Sciences in Cambridge you already get a choice to decide what topics you want to do, but in the first year of Oxford's Biological Sciences there are only four compulsory courses. Thanks so much for your useful advice!!

lol fair enough. But I can't really tell their difference and to me Oxford and Cambridge are pretty similar...
