What's changed? How difficult you're finding the content?

I can't express how strongly I can relate to this. My maths teacher hasn't been in for 2 weeks and I understand that. But for the past 2 weeks we've just had substitutes who aren't even specialised maths teachers so we've been learning nothing. Whats more is we have our mocks in 2 weeks time and I have so many topics in every subject to go over especially Science. What's more I have to draft and write up my personal statement in the next 2 weeks also since we have to have submitted all college applications by 04th December! so much to do in just 2 weeks! November is literally gonna be the month from hell!

Omg I relate to you so much!!!! Our mocks are so soon too and I don’t know anything in science - well I do know the content but in the exam it’s something wayyyy different. Thank god I do geography because my geography knowledge saves me in chemistry for chemistry in the environment as well as aspects to do with the earth and green house gases etc

Gurrl now I'm wishing I did Geography too! I can't tell you how stressful History is! So many facts, Dates and names to memorise! But I get what you mean- Thank God I do PE because in theory we basically just do Biology and all about the heart, Vena carva, etc.

Relating to you guys man! Mocks in 2 weeks! Maths is so stressful and history is the worst subject! Regret taking it!! Don’t worry the mocks will tell us where we are and what we need to improve on. Good luck 👍🏻

oh my gosh....tell me about it. People say that GCSE's aren't that much work compared to IB/a-level...but its not even that i have loads of work, i mean it feels like it, but i think thats more inside my head than a reality - and i get so overwhelmed because we have so much homework to complete so i cant get on with my own revision for the topics at the beginning of the year, and if i dont start revising something and finish it by when i planned to i just feel like such a failure. I skipped school for one day last week because i had two mocks and i wasnt anywhere near prepared because i was so busy with homework that i only had the night before to revise - bear in mind i didnt understand any of that topic anyway - so anyway yeah i skipped school because i didn't want to flunk the test bc i feel like i want to do well in the mocks to prove to myself that i can do well in the real thing Every now and then i just get so stressed and anxious that i want to cry bc i feel like im going to fail my final exams...and the annoying thing is - i know i have it in me to do well, but the stress and anxiety get in the way of revising effectively because i just want to huddle in a hole somewhere. And everyone keeps asking me what i want to do in the future - like ahhhh im 16??? idkkkAlso, anyone know how much of a jump a-level biology is from gcse??sorry for the essay....ahah but i just cant cope, help!!How are you finding it

I haven't found the jump from GCSE biology to A-level biology to be too hard (it probably will get harder over time though) but I love biology so maybe that's why... For my GCSE results I got:
    Biology- A*
    Chemistry- A*
    Physics- A
    Maths- 7
    Further maths- B
    English language- 7
    English literature- 8
    Art- A*
    Ict- A
    Geography- A
    RE- A
French- C (so happy I passed)
