Now the nights are getting longer ...

... can you please make sure that if you are out and about on your bike that you have your lights on.

There have been quite a few students cycling without any lights and it makes it really difficult to see you.

In the Health and Safety regs here this is what it says:

While cycling on campus after dark you must show a white front light and a red rear one, plus a red rear reflector and amber pedal reflectors. This is not just common sense, but the law. You may be held liable for any accident arising out of your failure to meet these requirements.
