So he keeps texting with insignificant topics lol like Im studying AI now, he kept asking series of question which I thought easy to just reply to so eventually comes to me telling him Im doing AI etc.

We last talked yesterday night when I said something like 'Ahh thats nice' to something he said and stopped. Then I was texting someone else when I saw he was typing something then stopped.

Then its radio silence and now in the morning he's talking just randomly with an AI question.

So is he just trying to annoy me or whats going on lol

Your info given is a bit difficult to follow, but it sounds a possibility that he is finding excuses to talk to you... or just generally needs help with the topic...

Thanks for your response, he doesn't need help with the topic I think since he's not studying or interested in it. However he keeps asking questions or continuing convos when I try to end it.

So is it okay if I ignore him or how do I stop him wanting to text lol.

Depends on whether he is in any of your classes, I guess you should say 'I'm not sure why you are asking these questions but it is getting too much, please leave me alone' and block him.
