Does it really matter where I do the GDL if I plan to challenge the bar? watch

    • Thread Starter

So I'm currently in my final year of finance and want to do the GDL, going onto the BPTC and so on and so forth.

I've been doing some reading and get a lot of conflicting and sometimes over five years old advice.

I was wondering if anyone can help clear this up or even advise on this situation?

I'm currently looking at either BPP in Manchester or Bristol or UWE.

From what I've gathered exactly where I do my GDL doesn't seem to matter much, however I am unable to do it in London.

I wouldn’t have thought it matters, most firms have a preference only because they’ve negotiated a deal with them, if you’re paying they don’t really care, I’d suspect it’s the same for the Bar...
