Hey guys, got an interview for Poundworld this Friday coming and wondering what to expect? I need the money over Christmas and any advice for a 17 y/o would be fantastic. Wage expectations, pros/cons, interview questions etc. Indeed isn’t very helpful.

    Thanks in advance!

Had interview today, got offered the job on the spot which is something they don’t do often apparently.
Interview was simple, “tell me about yourself”, “what are you expecting to get from the job”, availability and then description of the duties which, for me, was a till job.
Pay is £4.04 an hour for under 18s, no set shifts stated. Under 18s get 2 15 mins breaks of a 6 hour shift or a 15 min break for a 4 hour shift.
I wore a formal/casual shirt, black jeans and plain black and white converse.
They appreciated the research I did into the company (plans for expansion, charity donations, where stuff is). Interview was between manager and assistant manager.
Any other questions, shoot while I can remember 😉
