I want to do Optometry at university, are there any students who have graduated having done optometry with any advice?

And would you say work experience is necessary? I don't know whether to submit my application right now without including experience or finding experience and then applying?

I'd say at least a week's worth of work experience is crucial. I know a friend who was steadfast on doing dentistry at uni for 3 years, since year 11 he would tell me that he wanted to become a Dentist. After observing a GDP for a week he immediately knew it wasn't for him and he no longer applied to it. He even did the UKCAT test lol.

similar to me I finished my whole application for medicine and then realised I didn't want to do it after some experience and looking into 'life as a doctor'
