    Hi guys,
I'm in the process of applying to universities and have made a short list of all the universities I wish to apply to. I'm hoping to study a foundation year in science to lead onto a course in optometry or othopics. I've researched Sheffield Univeristy's Orthopics course and have been interested. I'm just wondering if they offer a foundation year for Orthopics as in their entry requirements under the heading 'alternative requirements' they state they accept Foundation Year courses: 70% overall from acceptable courses in Science with no less than 60% in all modules. Does anyone know what this means?? I need to know ASAP
    Thank you x

it seems like they don't offer a specific foundation year themselves, but would accept foundation years (perhaps in a foundation year for health professions) from other universities with appropriate modules and an average of 70% overall. Best to contact them to check exactly which foundation years they would accept.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
