Hi, I'm thinking of applying to these universities:
    King's
    LSE
    QMUL
    Kent
    Last one's still in question...

    My GCSE's weren't great, I got A*AAAABBBBBCC
My AS results were a huge improve from my GCSE's. I got (only two of my A-levels were non-linear):
    Biology (OCR A): A
    Politics (Edexcel): A
And my history mock proved to be a B.

My predicted grades will hopefully be: AAA as my school have a no A* policy for some obscure reason, but what do you think of my chance of getting into these unis?

    Thank you.

Hi, so I didn't do as well as you for GCSEs but did very well for AS and had good predicted grades and still got offers for IR/politics from a lot of top unis (but then I'm an international student..)

If I'm not mistaken LSE is very competitive especially for Home Students for IR, but there's no harm in trying, because you're predicted AAA which is the entry requirement for IR but for 2016 or 2017 there were almost 1000 applications for 70 places so don't get your hopes up too high - they may or may not hold your GCSEs against you, so your PS and reference should be great

I don't know too much about Kings, I would suggest you check the entry requirements

With your grades you should probably get a spot at QMUL and Kent no problem, but of course check their entry requirements!

Have you thought about applying to Bristol or Warwick? All the best, I'm on mobile so I can't rly check the uni entry requirements so please double check !! You should try posting another post on here under Applications, Clearing and UCAS
