Hello, due to A-level reforms I haven't sat AS, but am predicted (and aiming) for AAA - I'm looking to apply for History MA

Does anyone know if this would be frowned upon by St Andrews admissions as I read somewhere on their website that they like individuals to 'cash in' grades.

Similarly, what would Edinburgh think of this and would I stand a better chance of getting an offer from them?

I’m not an expert but they should know that the A levels have changed and that most students won’t have any AS exam results... Did you do any mocks at the end of the year?

Yes two sets ) I just didn't know if they prefered schools that still did them.

I doubt it - we did the AS exams, but they aren’t worth anything so they’re kind of like mocks in a way? I don’t know why they would prefer real AS exam results over mocks, it’s still a reflection of how you performed half way through the course
