I sometimes find it hard to study and I don’t know really what to write when taking notes, anyone suggest helpful things?

First, you should observe yourself and find out what state of mind allows you to study. If you're the type that gets easily distracted, isolation is a good idea, clearing your workdesk from rubble and organisation reduces the probability of getting distracted. Second, observe your courses. Are those subjects really interesting to you? If not, then either you change them or you get someone to walk you through the difficult parts, this doesn't exclude YouTube.

I don't fancy 'taking notes' to. But I'm sure if you're not a 'taker' you're a 'maker'. You can instead study from a wide range of sources with the intention of 'making' notes from your understanding. Imagine you're preparing to teach a class, when you're doing that, it will trick your brain into doing it's best to remember.

I hope I helped. Stay awesome.

I find making mind maps to break down information really helps, as well as making flashcards and doing lots of past papers!
