Can I take the contraceptive pill for extra days to avoid period? watch

    • Thread Starter

I am currently taking Dianette contraceptive pill, but during my upcoming 7 day break i'll be sexually active so im wondering if its possible for me to start another packet back to back with no break & will that guarantee no period/bleeding? thank you!!

It won’t guarantee no bleeding because everybody’s body reacts differently, but theoretically it’s meant to stop your period

I take Rigevidon and this summer when I went on holiday I skipped my 7 day break and just started another pack and I didn't get my period. I'd assume it's the same.

it should delay your period but if your body isn't used to it you can get 'breakthrough bleeding' which is more spotting than an actual period but could still put a damper on things. In my experience you might start getting that a while after your period should have been not at the exact same time but everyone is different. it's best to 'test' these things if you're going to have to rely on them.
