Hello, I am considering doing a degree in business however I am not sure to how good it's career prospects are; as I am getting mixed feedback.

I have contemplated specialising in management, international business or economics so I would be interest in their value also.

Are there many post grad opportunities or jobs requesting business related degrees?

It really depends on what you want to get out of it and what you do with it. I work in a business development office for a uni and none of us have business degrees. Equally I know of people who have started their own businesses or worked on existing ones while students of business and management at uni and been very successful. It will teach you a load of skills (which are also transferable) and give you knowledge and experience about the industry and field but it's up to you to do something with it.

Yes. Do it if you like the subjects and you are likely to do well in them. Short of the professions, you don't really need to have a specific degree for a specific career. Top business degree holders end up in Investment Banking (assuming you may be keen on it) as well as in Consulting, just as many Economics degree holders end up in a variety of other careers. Do a course that you will excel in, which is usually one you are passionate in, and usually the two go hand in hand.
